5 months and Memorial Day wknd

We love 3 day weekends around here!!! 

On Saturday we went to our friends pool party. Landon stayed at the party until 9pm...such a party animal.

We had a typical Sunday... Church then hung out at Grandma's!! On Sunday Landon sat up by himself for the first time!!! Such a big boy.

On Monday, Memorial Day, Landon turned 5 months ( time really does fly) we had lots of BBQ and Auntie Blair came over to play

Food!!!!

I was so excited that the Dr cleared us for food....I had Landon set up the night before for our big morning of Oatmeal.

But.....this is what I got 

Baby Oatmeal cereal was an epic fail...guess I'll try rice cereal

4 Month Dr's appt

The move to Dallas set us back on our Dr's appt. so, we were a little tardy on the 4 month. We finally got in on Friday for our next round of shots. Landon was was not happy with the shots ; (  poor baby. My big boy is 14.6 lbs and 24.75 in long.

Happy 1st Mother's Day

I had the best first Mother's Day with my family. I'm so lucky to be Landon's mommy. I look forward to watching him grow up (but not too fast). 

On Saturday we went to the park with all the Broden grand kids with Jamaals parents. They all had a blast and Landon loved going down the slide with his daddy.

On Sunday we went to church, then lunch at a little uptown spot called hook line and sinker. Jamaal and Landon showered me with gifts. I'm a lucky girl

Then we went to visit my mom and hung out at my parents for a while. Whenever someone else is around I make them capture a family photo.

That night, Jamaal and Andre sent me and Maia to the movies while they put the kids down for bed. We got to see The Other Woman, it's hysterical. 

Of course I need to shout out my wonderful mama. You are truly the greatest.

Miss Madison Monroe

The Harrison's came to Dallas this wknd and Landon got to hang out with his future wife, Madison!!!

We did not make them hold hands...they did it on their own. Landon even kissed her hand ( don't tell her dad) but I was too slow to get a pic.
